Avalon Power Windows & CD player

Have a drivers side window that will not budge (up position). All other windows work fine. Probably regulator? I see that Camry regulators are readily available on Ebay, does Avalon use the same one? If not where can I find one (other than paying $300+ for Toyota to fix it).

Also has CD player (Toyota brand) that skips, 2 or 3 times per CD (old and new). Can the CD player be changed out by itself (without replacing the whole radio)? Is this a DIY job? Or can they be realigned for a reasonable cost? I have cleaned the lens, no change.

My first post here, lots of interesting info! I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Tom

PS: Oh yeah, it's a 1999 model

same problem on mine with the window, though a 95, the other 3 windows work ok. Recently however the driver side won't even go down, it used to work better during humid or cold days. Now I have not tried it for awhile, as last time it barely came up, and I had to kinda force it up.

I just recently replaced the driver side front window regulator and motor on our 96 Avalon. I purchased the hardward from Autozone for about half the repair cost that you mentioned and changed it out myself. It is a pretty easy, straight forward repair (at least for my year model).
