Unhappy Where is the Direct Clutch Speed Sensor?

I have an 1997 avalon XL. I got the Check-Engine light on and code P1705, direct clutch speed sensor circuit mulfunction. I am trying to fix it by myself (hope I could do it).

Could someone give me the pictures leading me to the presice location of this LOVELY sensor? (I am a new-newbie of car but love it)

I did open the hood but don't know where is the transmission and where is the sensor (some friend said it is on the top of transmission).

Thanks alot for any infomation.

rebuild transmission

I took my car to a transmission garage, got a offer to rebuild my transmission . That's really bad. Just not to be a jerk I declined that offer because my car has only one code P1705 and I drive it feeling no problem. In stead of this BIG deal I just want the P1705 gone.
I just let them to replace my Direct Clutch Speed Sensor (they charge me $202).
