I'm buying a 99 Avalon for 3200 - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I am buying it from a friend at work. It is fully loaded and drives great, the only bad is it has 159k miles. It is in great shape. I am not real concerned with that though, it is a Toyota after all. I had a 99 Camry and loved it. Anything I should be cautious about with a 99 Avalon?

Yeah, you should be concerned with getting stuck with that car! It will be super reliable and comfortable, and always come through for you. Thus, every time you start to look at something newer, cooler, more sporty, your practical side will kick in and before you know it you will be facing 200K and still own it. Its a trap, Man, its a trap!

agreed. ive seen so many nicer cars come through the dealership i work for and yet still i keep coming back to my camry and i never seem to want to get rid of it as the miles pile up
