cant not figure out why 98 avalon is not starting

so far we have determined that it is not the battery, starter, fuel pump. my dad is goin crazy on tryin to fix my car for me. if anyone could please, try to help us and give some insight on the situation. my spark plugs are gettin spark but they give off a yellow spark, and my dad said that they should be white. im set on having my alternator tested but my dad doesnt think that is the problem. is there anyone out there that can please help me. i love my avalon and really want it running again soon.

Thanks. Tara

Does this car have one coil or more then one?

Is the engine getting fuel when cranking.

Check the timing. Make sure the dist rotor is at the No 1 cylinder cap electrode when the crank is at 0 deg and No 1 cylinder at TDC.

thanks for your input, we finally figured out that it was the fuel pump circuit within the fuel pump itself. so my dad just went out and bought a new one and replaced it. all is well with my avalon now, so glad to have it running again!!!

it is having coil or more the one coil.may be its alternate problem.it is not providing proper current to spark plug.you should go to workshop and tell them about your problem.they will give you better solution.and it's good to hear that you love your car.
