All wood trim peeling off... options?

All the wood trim in my brother's 96 is peeling off and looks terrible. It didn't really fit the car anyways as the car is black with black leather.

What are his options for replacement?

I peeled all mine off and like it better that way. It's a pain in the rear! A real hot day will help.

Tried that but it leaves a dried gluey mess. What did you do to get that off?

I used a heat gun, don't get it close to the leather or vinyl, hold it back a little and don't let it stay in one spot for long. Peel it off, clean it with a good cleaner. I bought a cheap wood trim kit on ebay for $60 and installed it in my 96 Avalon. Liked it better with the wood than without, my interior is tan. You can also get simulated metal finishes which would probably look better with black interior. The heat gun will help melt some of the glue residue.

You could paint all that wood trim with a black wrinkle finish. It looks better than peeling wood.

Goo Gone seems to work good for sticky mess... but not dried stuff.

Probably will end up getting a sticker set from ebay or something.
