If my XLS had factory keyless entry, can I just get a new remote?

I was wanting keyless entry but if my car had it but the remote was lost, could I just get a new remote from the dealership? How can I determine if my car had a factory keyless entry?

I would take it to a Toyota dealer, they would be able to help you out.

I went through a huge headache for a new wireless key. The dealer I originally bought my Avalon from did not have the "master key". The dealer said it was needed to program new remotes and make new keys that would work with the security box.
Since I did not have the magical "Master Key" it cost me $300 dollars to get a new working set of keys for my car and put in a new security box. The dealer only provided one copy of the key and remote. Don't get me wrong I got a really great deal on my car......... but dammm that much just to get a spare set of keys. I had to take this route because I needed to have an extra key that would work in the ignition. Would have been useless for me to get a key that would not start the engine but opens the doors you know.

And to make matters worse....... my dealer gave me the wrong title with my car. It happens that there were two Avalon XLS grey leather on that lot. Ok I understand that mixup......... but guess what? They found the master key in the folder for the paperwork on my car. Isnt that a bitch. This all transpired 9 months after I had bought the car. I think i was riding around with a registration that didnt match the VIN numbers.

BTW they somehow left the old security box in my car. Can i get anything for it?
