Power Steering High Pressure Hose

So my 95 Avalon is leaking oil. I took it to the mechanic today and he told me it's the power steering high pressure hose. He told me that new OEM ones run for $450-ish.

I've been looking for a cheaper aftermarket alternative and have come up with these, but I don't know which to get. Any ideas?

I would say you have to ask your mechanic. It seems that there are two possible hoses (they are very different as well) that you can buy. I think it depends on which one your mechanic is replacing.

It might even be possible that he is replacing both. (One seems to be from the pump and the other goes to the gear). Just give him a ring and ask which one he is replacing.

The thing I don't understand is that the Toyota dealer sells a "pressure hose" as one complete part and that is what the mechanic told me to order... but this aftermarket part has the two separate parts (from the pump and to the gear).

If I bought both, would that be the same as buying it from the dealer?

I would believe so. The only time I buy parts from the dealer is when there isn't an aftermarket replacement. (Steering U-joint seized up on me. Toyota = $220)
