Question Stabilizing Bar (Sway Bar) Bushing Replacement

Hello Gentlemen,

I just replaced my front struts today (see my other post below) and now I see that my stabilizer bar bushings are almost gone. In fact, one is partially missing. Question: Any recommendations for a replacement brand besides the dealer's OEM part? We've got Advanced Auto, Auto Zone and O'Reilly's Auto parts here in Austin for replacement parts. Also, what is the simplest way to replace the bushings? Do I actually need to remove it from the stabilizing bar links on each end, or the ball joints, too? I can't tell if the actual stabilizing bar is under pressure or what.

Any advice will be much welcomed,
Jack

If you don't mind ordering online there is RockAuto.com.

Also, if you want "sportier" bushings, there is energy suspension bushings that are supposed to be a little stiffer. The Camry bushings are exactly the same and it is easier to find by Camry.

Thumbs up Job Done!

Thanks for the reply, but I installed a pair of Moog 22mm bushings and I'm on the road again. The bar wasn't under pressure. Easy install.
