question on a/c operation
Something has been bugging me lately here in hot, humid south florida. I usually just leave the a/c on and the fan button on all the time. So, when I start up the car, the a/c and fan starts blowing cold air pretty quickly (which is damn good for a '98- hopefully, the elderly couple that had it before me had any problems with it and got it fixed). Anyhow the question is:
1)When you pull into the garage or go to the mall or someplace for a few hours; do you shut off the a/c blower motor fan and then start engine and push in a/c blower fan button? Or do you just leave everything on all the time?
2) I'm wondering if it's any good for the engine or a/c system to start a cold engine in the morning or after 4 hours or so and immediately put a load on both the motor and the a/c system.
Thanks for any comments/advice.
