Broken Bolt on rear caliper mount (torque plate), need help!

I needed to replace the rear brake pads and rotors on my 96 XLS Avalon to get it to pass PA state safety inspection. I've done brakes a few times in the past on other vehicles so I jumped in. I Started with the left rear. I removed the caliper bolts just fine and tied the caliper up out of the way and then proceeded to break the head off the lower bolt trying to remove the torque plate (caliper mount).

I pretty much figured it would break because that sucker was tight. Now I guess I am going to need to replace the torque plate because what is left of the bolt I am sure ain't coming out.

It seems most of the major parts stores do no sell the torque plate & bolts, I have seen a few obscure places online selling calipers with the torque plate included but the pictures they show do not seem to include the bolts to attache the torque plate.

The caliper itself looks non-functioning so I will probably replace it, like I said above I see website selling the caliper and the plate but not with the bolts.

I am afraid I will break the other bolt if I try and remove it and have to drive tomorrow so I have nothing to compare it to. I am probably gonna need all new bolts so does anybody have any ideas?

Sorry to be a newb. Thanks in advance!

If I were you, I'd just go to a Toyota dealer to get the bolts. They'll probably be about a dollar each; just a guess based on what I've paid for other fasteners there. That's a small price to pay to know you've got not only the correct threads, but also the correct bolt strength.

Here's where to find part numbers. Great exploded parts diagrams.
