Gen1 Upper Strut bar

Hey gang, I have been searching for a strut bar for my 95 Avalon XL and I keep finding ones that say "Will not fit V6 models" when I do the Camry search. Any suggestions??

And that is where I saw strut bars, but they all said will not fit v6 model, I would really like someone to explain why it won't fit, I don't think the I4 and v6 are that different in terms if the strut bar? What Intake are you using and where did you get it? Also what year is your Avalon? Thanks for the quick reply

In terms of the strut bar, the bar itself would be obstructed by the engine itself. When I fist installed the strut bar, it was very close to the engine which resulted in a bit of melting of the bar. sniff sniff

But other than that I can not think of another reason why not.

My Avalon is the exact same thing as yours a 95 Avalon XL.

My intake is a Cosmo Short Ram Intake.

here is the link for the product itself

SWEET, I was giving up hope seeing nothing really for our cars, and having to search for Camry Parts. So what did you have to do for the Bar, and what other goodies do you have that I can get???LOL. If you can remember where you found stuff for your car, please let me know, I am looking for all things and I usually decide on few, like I only want to do the strut bar, intake, lower the car, and get some rims(nothing fancy, I would actually like to get some 17" toyota or lexus rims, simple but different). Thanks again fo the quick responses, I am searching for some speakers now, lol

My Busted 95 Avy

Those are the things I have done to my car except for the new HIDS i put into it which I havent taken pictures. If you have any questions about a particular just ask.

Lowering the car is going to be done with a set of springs that should be researched through this thread

Gen 3 Suspension Options

You got to remember that the Avalon is exactly the same as the Camry except a little bit bigger and a lot heavier.

Most things that fit the Camry's will fit our Avys.

Well I just ordered the Intake, thank you very much for that link, and I will check out the other stuff as well. I will contact when I want to do something else or need more info. Also do you know if the bumper lights from the Camry will fit the Avalon?

Idk what it was made of but it had a little bit of meltage because the strut bar initially was like touching the piping on the top of my engine. SUPER HOT. so it melted a little bit. After the meltage it set in just fine.

Love it to death though helps out with stablity

the solara oem bar won't rub on the engine BUT it will rub on the hood and leave little marks from the blanket looking thing. It also gave my car a little bulge too. I'm sure if u take out the blanket thing or cut it it will fit fine. I also had to move some of the relays over.
