Where is the AM antenna in a 1999 Avalon XLS

My AM reception has been almost nonexistent for the last few days. It will sometimes come in very weak, and other times not at all. I don't know if the problem is in the receiver or the antenna. I know that the FM Antenna is in the rear window, but is the AM antenna there as well? I pulled the radio out and there are two separate antenna inputs. Can anyone tell me if both of these inputs lead to the same place or is there a separate AM antenna concealed somewhere in the vehicle?

Thanks for any help you can give. I don't want to replace the radio if I don't need to.

As far as I know, the radio uses the same antenna for both AM and FM. Keep in mind that AM is susceptible to much more inteference than FM. Things like your car's ignition and the weather (rain, lightning, cloud cover) can affect your reception or cause interference.
