How to drain A/C fluid to add fresh fluid

i have a 1996 avalon xl and am having problems with the A/C not being as cold as it used to be. the A/C reservoir has enough fluid in it, it's in the middle of low and full, and i dont remember the last time i added any coolant in it. i want to know how to drain all the coolant from the reservoir so i can put fresh coolant in it. is there a drain plug underneath the car for the coolant, like the oil drain plug?

wanted to know and try before i take it to a mechanic or garage. thnx!

I think your confusing the coolant reservoir with the A/C system. The A/C sytem has a sight-glass on the condenser drier but thats about it. It needs to have gauges put on it for further diagnosis. Furthermore, a flush and re-fill of your cooling system won't help your air conditioning issue. Two separate sytems here. Have it looked at by your mechanic.
