I replaced the window regulator in the drivers side front door. Pretty easy. I found simplistic pictures/instructions in a Chilton's or Haynes manual in the library. Later found the Haynes Camry manual which also covered my Avalon. You have to take the glass out too, which is no big deal. Lots of different size fasteners involved, just keep them separate and put a note as to where they came from.

Bought a Dorman regulator. They are sold pretty cheaply on ebay. When I took the old one out some plastic bits on it had clearly broken.

On the front, when removing the plastic insert for the door handle and for the power window controls you will usually break a tab and so they cannot be reused. Fortunately those parts were inexpensive (I fixed the door handle part with epoxy but bought the controls part for $15 or $30) at my local Toyota dealer but you will need your color code which is on a door jamb sticker.

Right after I fixed the front, the rear quit working. Probably will not fix it.
