Cold miss

1999 Avalon 155k miles. It started missing in mornings while accelerating. Once it warms up it is fine. I thought it was a coil but it has not thrown a check engine light yet. The last coil I replaced threw a code and would miss under a load even when warm. New wires and plugs installed approx. 20k miles ago. The injectors have never been serviced. Any suggestions out there?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I pulled the injectors out and had them professionally serviced at Dr. Injector and this fixed the problem. No more miss and better acceleration. Also replaced the valve cover gaskets while in the neighborhood.

There IS a possibility 1 of the plugs could have gone bad.
