1999 Avalon 304,000 miles!

Hello all, new member here. I would love some input on this. My 1999 avalon xls has 304,000 miles on it. The interior is in great condition, the exterior is great except for where someone hit and ran on my front left bumper, just a dent, no damage to the head lights or anything. No engine trouble, I LOVE this car. Just put a new starter in it actually.

Anyways, my question. I am thinking of getting a 2001 Integra GSR and so I want to sell this but how much do you guys think I can reasonably get for a car with over 300k on it? Here are the private party KBB values: Excellent, 4,425, good 3900, fair 3,275. I am in Fort Lauderdale. I have a hard time believing however that I can get three grand for this car, as beautiful and reliable as it is. Just checked Edmunds True Market Value and with the mileage and an average rating it comes to about $1700. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

ps. my mom's 1996 honda accord which I used to drive has 315,000 miles...we love our Japanese cars in my family

I'm from MI so I don't know what your car market is like. I'd try a craigslist ad for $3500 for a week and see what happens. You can always go down from there.

How in the world did you get so many miles? Commuting to Alaska on a daily basis? I'm impressed...hope mine makes it that far. Good luck on getting a decent selling price. KBB/Edmunds are great tools, but it all boils down to the condition of the car and how well it was maintained, and having great selling skills doesn't hurt either!
