Which rims would look better on my black 96' Avalon XLS?
I can't decide which rims would look better. I could trade in my chrome rims for these rims at this place here in town and get 200 knocked off and get them for 412 after taxes and all. The others would be around 600 and they would have to order them and I would have to try and sell my old ones myself. http://s854.photobucket.com/albums/a...7.jpg&newest=1
Thats my car with its current rims which started peeling on the inside so I want to put either these on it:http://s854.photobucket.com/albums/a...=edgewheel.jpg
Yea they do look similar. But don't you agree that even the silver lined rims that i could get in town look way better than the ones i have now? even the wheel guy that would do the trade in said those would be hard to sell cuz no one would want them cuz their not black and also they just look like hub caps, i agree i have never been a fan and though the rims with black would look a lot cooler at the size i have to get.
Yeah I mean I'm still undecided but it would just be easiest to go to the wheel place and trade the crappy ones i have in since no one would wanna buy the ones i have.that was a mistake i immediately regretted it after i bought them, but just wanted new rims,it sucks they gotta be so small with all the extra side wall. thats why i figured either black one would look a lot better.
I guess what I really want is to just make sure I'm happy with how these look and also that people see my car and are like man those are some nice lookin rims.
The only reason I got small rims was cuz my dad had just got those tires back then, a yr and a half ago, so yea its the same tires i have now, and i think i decided to go with the all black ones with the silver lip just cuz they would look better on my black car, my dad agrees. the small amount i would get for the trade in for the others isn't worth it i'd be better off ordering the black ones and tryin to sell mine plus i just like the all black ones better anyways.
unfortuantely not, but i kinda have to get diff ones cuz the chrome ones are rusting and peeling on the inside badly on one wheel, causing the tire to lose air,but even at the size they are now i think the black ones will look wayy better, and plus even though bigger lower profile tires are nice looking, they ride so much more rough and i don't wanna worry about the rims scraping on the street, also those are fairly new tires and it would just cost a lot more to get bigger ones.
I would try to find some used Toyota rims from a junkyard to put on there, if you are going to keep those tires. If they are going to be that small, stay factory. Big tires on small aftermarket wheels looks so cheap to me.
So my dad ordered the rims, same size i have now, but the ones u liked better because in the end they really won't cost anymore if we get them at our tire place, and i can sell my current ones, but do you think its worth it to get more 15s or not? the thing i hate about bigger tires that are lower profile is they dont last that long and also just the worry of scraping the rims etc, rougher ride, I just don't know if its worth it to get more 15s and I'm not really in the market to spend all the extra money on bigger tires. But we have to get new rims either way,I just dont know though.
lemme get this right... you ordered the 15" wheels, and you are asking if it will be worth buying new tires for those rims when the time comes, or if you should go with bigger wheels next time you need new tires.
that what you mean?
