A/C Amplifier and Servo Motor issue

I believe my 1998 avalon xls has been plagued by the issue of the a/c amplifier and servo motor/link arm regarding the auto climate control. I know this is a very costly repair just for the parts. The amplifier I currently have is part number 88650-41030. Could I replace this with the 88650-41010 amplifier, or does it have to be exact? Also, would i even need to replace the amp or just the servo motor and link arm? I plan to swap the parts out myself, but I am nonetheless trying to minimize the costs. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
