98 Avalon XLS Won't start

I searched the old post and could not find any definite info. The faithful Avalon stranded me a few weeks ago at the store, went back after it a few hours later car started right up. Went home checked battery ( with load tester ) and charging system all good. Yesterday put key in at the turn of the key an ever so brief (like a few weeks before) hint of electrical life then nothing. The only hint of electrical life is a sometimes solid sometimes fluttering of the security light. Battery checks good. You can go out after an hour or so and same results. Two days now still acting ugly. Anybody experienced this before?

The security sytem is factory. Anyway to bypass to see if this is the problem.

Check ground wires for breaks in the coating or any indication of a possible short..
