96 avalon dome light

Hey guys, my 96' avalon's dome light has just stopped working recently. I changed out the bulb but still no light comes on. Any help as to how i can fix this? Thanks

I had the same problem with my 97 Avy, I used a multimeter to check for voltage at the contacts to the bulb and cleaned all the connections on the assembly and it has been working since. You will also need to pull out the assembly and check the connections on the back. The first thing you should have checked is the fuse.

Besides checking the wiring/fuses, wiggle the bulb you installed. The recepticle/bulb isn't the best design, and mine always came back on after I played with it for awhile.
