Suspension and Steering Work

Greetings everyone thank you for looking at this post. I have a '95 Avalon XLS 155,560 mi. It has been bottoming out on speed bumps for the last 3 years. The steering has wiggle. The rack is leaking. So I have bought Left Lower Control Arm520-405DormanSensa Trac Strut Front Right71979MonroeSensa Trac Strut Front Left71980MonroeSensa Trac Strut Rear Right71680MonroeSensa Trac Strut Rear Left71681MonroeRear Springs ( Pair)CC273 MoogSprings Front (Pair)MC9642 MoogSteering Rack & Pinion26-1695CardoneFront Bearing Plate903991MonroeRear Bearing Plate902927MonroeLower Spring Isolator Front904951MonroeLower Spring IsolatorRear904953MonroeBoot63619 Monroe
Along with a rebuilt rack in the hopes I can get these things to stop and have the safe comfortable ride I expect from this fine automobile.

Please- if you can see anything I will need parts, supplies or tools that I'll need before tearing down my only transportation let me know. I'd also greatly apppretieate any pointers on getting this done.

I still need to get a spring compressor and be careful using it. But the sockets and torque wrench? I'm not sure about those. Please let me know and thanks for reading this and your response - if you know.

Not familiar with Monroe Struts..or what they come with. I bought the often recommended Tokico Blues. KYB's are another often recommended. For springs I went with Vogtland which yield a bit lower ride height.

Moog parts are pretty popular aftermarket replacements with shops.

My stock rear springs were really shot. With three people in the back it bottomed on the tiniest bumps. Also had a lot of noise from the suspension...knocking and clunking.

There are a lot of other parts to consider...mounts, boots, bearings, sway bar bushings, strut bump stops... I went to ToyotaPartZone where they have schematics of the front and rear suspension and bought replacements for all the soft parts...as well as replacement bolts and nuts.

As far as tools, you might need a breaker bar to free the strut nuts. They can be really tight.
