95 Avalon Wiper Issue - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

The arm that connects the wipers to the wiper motor came loose the other day. When I reattached it, the drivers wiper lost about 2 inches of its motion towards the A pillar.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why and how to correct?

its probably off a tooth on the gear.try to loosen the arm and readjust untill its right.i hope this helps you.

I will give it a try, but when I did that on Sunday, it stopped too far from the bottom. When I reattached the wiper , I tried to line it up after the motion had reset. This placed the wiper at the correct position when off, but ended up short at the A pillar.
