I just bought a 96 Avalon at an auction for a great price. it has a 1mz-fe in it,very similar to my 2000 camry v6 except the MAF seems to be different. IS the engine in the 96 avalon the exact same as the 96 camry v6?

I would like to find as many aftermarket parts for this avalon as possible.

Anybody have any idea where i can start to buy stuff for it.

i want intake exhaust struts springs clear lenses. After all this is done i may consider doing a TRD supercharger custom job like Gibson99 did on his 95 se v6 coupe.

thanks guys!

I think one thing the Avalon needs is a redone frontend because I find it ugly maybe you could have a skyline front made for it.

Yes, the engine in the avalon (1MZ-FE) is shared by the Camry and ES300 aswell. So any mods for the 1MZ you can do to your avalon. You should hit up http://www.teamsc3.com and talk to Flipside (Ryan) there, he is an avalon owner.

latez.

The Greddy Evo's piping will need to be lengthened a little for it to fit. Also the hangers are in different places so you need to fabricate that as well. It should be able to fit but you will need to modify it.

No one makes clear corners for the Avalon. The custom one you see on the green 95 was done with plexiglass and lots of adheseve. It really wasn't a perfect fit but it doesn't look bad from far away.

Why hook up an Avalaon because it is more for the ride and the comfort...Get rid of it...get a new corolla and hook that up...Well good luck on your journey!

Hey you can also check out Topline's Twin Turbo system for the 1mz-fe engine, I think it was originally made for the Toyota Sequoia SUV, but its should fit your engine, for around $5,200. As for body kits, I dont know if they make any for your car but custom molding is always a possibility, measure the width of the front of your car and try to find a kit(maybe a friendz) that has similar dimensions, seeing a bomb azz hooked up Avalon would be Tight!
