Gen1 Replaced IAC, now wont start!!

I had a high idle problem recently and had to replace the IAC. Problem now is the car will crank but not fire. When cold, I get an initial stumble then nothing but cranking. It seems to get fuel since I can smell it so I am wondering if the IAC is bad...?
I checked the cold resistance of the IAC and it reads normal but now I fear something is wrong with the ECT. any help would be appreciated. Thx

I had the IAC out of my Camry a while back for cleaning; completely disassembled it. When I went to start it, it wouldn't fire at first. Then I started flooring the gas pedal and it started but died immediately if I let up on the gas. It would then start and run a bit as long as I was giving it some throttle.

It seemed like the computer controls needed to re-cal the IAC. It took half a dozen re-starts before it started behaving normally.

Gen1 Replaced IAC, now won't start

I have the same feeling there is something wrong the same way. In my case I can't get it to start at all. I pulled a few plugs and they are wet like they are not getting a spark. I have voltage to the coils and the resistance of the coils is correct. Im checking for spark next and hoping the ECU has not died. Thanks for the help.
