Gen1 How to remove side molding on Avalon 1999

Hello! Does anyone know how to safely remove small piece of side molding on the bottom of quarter panel? I’m trying to fix rust damage in the area and hoping to reattach this piece back after repair.
Thank you.

robcam13,
thank you for your quick reply. I’ll give it a try. I’m attaching a picture just to show what I meant.
