Key/Ignition Problem

Good Morning!

This morning I went to get in my car and when I put the key in the ignition I could not get it to go past where is says acc. I jiggled and I turn the steering wheel to no avail. Had to get a tow truck to get it back to my house. Been reading that it could be the cylinder...if it is...how easy is it to replace and what is the appoximate expense. Thank you!!

take the trim around the lock cylinder. there is a retaining pin located under the cylinder.all you need to do is push in the pin with a screwdriver then pull the cylinder straight out(i insert the key and turn it to acc and use it as a handle. not sure on a price sorry.
