freaked ME out !!

while looking for my date of manufacture today i saw that it weighs 4,520 pounds! amazing...

i have a '96 ford aerostar extended that weighs 5,200 pounds. 700 more than an avalon?

i had no idea she has that much led in her ass... which makes the performance that much more impressive.

I thought it was supposed to be 3,300 lbs?

OP, does that weight rating say "GVWR", or something like that? If so, that's the maximum weight of the car, passengers, and payload. GVWR = Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

The curb weight figure is what you should be looking at.
