Toyota Avalon Neutral Safety Switch

Help Please,my 1995 avalon will not shift out of park,ive got it 2 do aftr readin the manual but i need 2 know how 2 bypass and r fix on the cheap,thx n advance

park lock?

do u mean the switch that wont let u shift from park unless ur foots on the brake? if so its under the console under the shifter u *could* bypass it with a ziptie but be warned car will come out of park at anytime i would chase down the issue and see why the switch isnt unlocking. a broke wire or something? when and how did this start happening??

yes wen i press brakes it will not shift fro park now the manual told me to stick object in colum to get 2 netrul

yea u can bypass it but like i said its a hazard to bypass it but, I would take console out its like 5 screws and 2 bolts and trace down why its not working.
