Well, IL law says that front windows are illegal at any level, but if you have friends, that helps. I'm totally up for some meet once I get my car back from the shop.

How can you even drive at night with a tinted windshield! It must be like painting your headlights bulbs black.

Well actually its not that bad at night. Yea when it does rain it sucks. Its a light tint but I'm guessing my h.i.ds help me out somewhat lol.I just think that tinting the windsheild looks bad ass because every one and there grandma has tinted front windows so why not try somthing new. Also the couple times I've gotten pulled over for tints the cops never even noticed the windshield. Just try it out trust me you'll like it.also if you live near chicago I can get you the windshield tinted for 50 bucks just let me know lol.

So to compensate for your questionably legal tinted windsheild, you installed HIDs so after losses from the tinted window it seems like a normal amount of light for yourself. but now blinding everyone around you?

I'm sorry, I mean no offense but thats just

Well there's no question wether my tints are legal or not cause they are against the law. Also I highly doubt I'm "blinding" every one around me if anything maybe the people infront of me but I don't think I am. My hids aren't that bright and if they were that bad they wouldn't come standard on most new cars.

Because the new cars that come with HIDs have projectors which aim the light properly and have a cutoff line. Reflector housings spread the light EVERYWHERE and are meant for halogens.

35% might not be TOO bad. Tint always looks darker in pics than it does in person. I personally wouldn't tint my windshield though. But to each their own.
