96 rear bumper cover

I need a rear bumper cover for my 96 Avalon and I was wondering if a 98-99 Avalon rear bumper cover would fit and if anyone has done the install? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A search for a 96 cover at an online OEM source shows the part was used for a three year range of production dates, shown below.

If you're getting from a junk yard, they can tell you what "Hollander" shows for interchangeability. Otherwise, look for the P/N molded into the cover and compare to the P/N on your cover.

If you're asking the question, you don't have the skills to be modifying anything to make it fit. Bumper cover removal is 30 min or less.
