Gen1 Belt Squealing...Help.

Whenever I start the engine when cold and the A/C is on or I turn it on after I start the car, the belt squeales for a good 5-10 seconds. It never squeals when I turn on the A/C once the engine is warm. It started squealing about two months ago. I just replaced both belts on Friday with Dayco brand. Problem still exists after new belts. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Gen1

Tightened both belts, they were loose. The power steering was a pain though, I had to hold the bolt in place because it wanted to go back to the top. But so far no squealing.
Thanks, Guys!

Hm, I have a similar problem, except my belts only squeal if i drive through a puddle too quickly. Now I just do my best to avoid them. Maybe they need tightening as well..

^Sounds like one of your splash guards in that area are loose, check and see if you see anything. I had that same problem on my old van and the splash guard was the problem.
