Quick questions with pics

Hi,

I'm going to replace coolant and transmission fluid on my 95 Avalon for the first time (on my own) either this weekend or the next. I just have a few questions before I proceed.

Is this the transmission plug?

As for the coolant replacement, I've located the radiator drain petcock but I wasn't able to find the engine drain plug. Is it possible to do a clean replacement without removing the engine drain plug?

While I as underneath the car, I took the following pic:

What is the circled connector for?

I think that connector in the second pic is for the outside temperature sensor
