Replacement Transmission

I have a 1996 Toyota Avalon XLS and it needs a new transmission. I found a cheap transmission in my area, but it is from a 1994 Toyota Camry. Is it possible that this transmission would work for my Avalon???

Thanks

If the Camry has a V6 engine, it mostly likely is compatible with your Avalon, because it's the same engine. But you might wanna wait for someone to chime in who's more certain about it.

9408 to 9608 Camry and 9511 to 9608 Avalon show the same Toyota remanufactured transmission part number.
