Timing Belt/Water Pump DIY: Anybody?

Anyone want me to do a DIY?

I just bought a timing belt kit from ebay. Made by AISIN, all oem parts.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.m748&item=250 744331135&viewitem=&_trkparms=clkid%3D572387190881 0772695

The rest of the parts I am getting from Toyota of Dallas, real cheap on their online parts website.

These are all the parts I am replacing, hoping it runs like new.

Timing Belt Tensioner
Cam Seals
Crank Seal
Gasket Right
Spark Plug Tube Seals
Plenum Gasket
Coolant Bypass Hose
Denso Spark Plugs
NGK TE65 Wireset - Amazon has it cheapest.
PCV Valve and Grommet
EGR Valve Gaskets
Throttle Body Gasket
IACV Gasket
Power Steering Rebuild Kit (mine is leaking)
Throttle Body Coolant Bypass Hose

I can do DIY on all the above parts, if anybody wants me too. Planning on taking my time anyways.

OK. It probably won't be until next week, as it will take time to write it up.

Sure! That would be great--thanks! I've got 187K miles on my '95 Avalon XL now so I'll be having to do this fairly soon also.
I don't have the Toyota Factory Service Manual and am Mac based (so I can't access that Toyota online maintenance site (it's Windows only)....

Got these parts in today!
Already ordered the rest at the dealership, picking them up in the morning.
My wallet has never felt so light.

Sounds promising, but don't you need a special tool that grips and holds the cam shafts in place, so you dont acdidently move them when putting on new seals/pulleys/belts?

I mean, I think the 1MZ is non-interference but it still best to avoid

I have seen a couple of methods of doing that. One is to use the old timing belt , make sure the engine is at TDC and remove the old belt. Than use that old belt, wrap it around one crank gear, put a vice grip to hold it. After that get a wrench and or breaker bar, give it a strong jolt and the bolt should come loose.

Another approach is a get a adjustable wrench, remove the valve covers which I'm doing and there should be a hex nut in either the exhaust or intake cam and use that to hold it. I'll find out tomorrow for sure.

Yeah I did, it wasn't hard at all. Just nuts and bolts basically.
I forgot about the diy, but I made a thread in the Camry forum whenever I needed advice or suggestions. It should help anyone doing this:
Need Advice
It runs great now, installing new rear struts and mounts friday or next monday.
