HID Projector Fog Lights (pics)

So I did a retrofit a while ago and I thought I would add the finishing touch of matching projector fog lights.

They cost me $40 for the lights on eBay (just type in HID Projector Fog Lights), and $50 for yet another slim HID kit. Installation took about 9 hours but the wiring is fused, the install is clean, and everything secure.

Torn apart; Getting ready to breech the firewall.

unmounted

from the back, slim HID ballast to the left

By the time I was finished the sun was out, lol. I have 8,000K for my low beam projectors and 30,000k in my new fog lights. I didn't want 3,000k cause everyone has that.

Looks Nice

What kind of projectors are in the low beams?

They are Valeo ones, no clear lenses or color mods unfortunately. I found them on eBay a while back, it said they were from an Audi.

I got my shrouds from The Retrofit Source.

Has anyone else on Toyota Nation done a retrofit on their Avalon?? It's got such a huge open headlight housing that makes it easy to work on.

That looks awesome! Can we get some pics of the fogs and lows on together at night? I was considering a retrofit, but was worried about cost and screwing up the housing.

I don't think on the Gen 1's, seen a couple Gen 2's.

Are you planning on covering up the empty space in the fog lights? I was thinking you can get the XL covers and dremel it to fit around the projector fogs.

I also want to do a retrofit, but I need to take care of a few headlight electrical problems(my fault) first and need money.

I had install pics of the low beams, but they got deleted. It was really hard and took me 2 solid days of working on it. The beams are not very level, but other than that they work great.
Some words of advice would be to watch as many YouTube install videos as possible and make sure the projectors your buying have 4 mount holes because mine only had two and that made things much harder.
