97 Avy auto headlights wouldn't shut off after door was closed. Didn't notice till battery was dead. Charged battery, found that
inside courtesy lights worked fine, but hdlts weren't shutting off. Read it could be as simple as headlight relay in engine comp't fuse box.

Bought new relay from NAPA for $20 and hdlts shut off correctly. Checked old relay vs new one with meter and read old one was still good. Put old relay back in and hdlts working correctly-maybe it was a bad connection? (picture of relay)

Anyways, the relay doesn't just pull out. Don't know if Toyota has special tool to spread tabs, but I used 2 small screwdrivers. Tabs are easier to get at if you pull the green Bosch relay out(no locks, but hard to pull)

Was hoping to avoid getting into integration relay and under dash control switch and lucked out.
