Replacing both serpentine belts on my 95 Avy

It is time to replace both of my serpentine belts on my 95 Avy. Should I attempt this myself or leave it to the pros? I am fairly mechanically inclined but I don't have a nice garage full of tools. When I was getting my car aligned the other day the mechanic said I'd have to lift the engine!?!? If anyone has done this before and has any tips or even a step by step DIY it would be much appreciated. Otherwise I'll just look in my Haynes manual and wing it from there.

You with need 10,12,14mm socket/wrenches. It would be best to have a ratcheting wrench when tightening the adjusting lock bolt.

i say go for it. they really are not very difficult. you need to remove the right side tire and a splash shield but thats about it. the haynes manual should help.

Don't tighten the belts too much, that can cause increased wear on bearings.

Not too difficult to replace drive belts. Not to be picking on you, but a serpentine belt is a single belt that drives all accessories. Just a terminology thing.
