98 fog light install

What's up guys it's been a while. Anyway I got some hyper yellow fog light bulbs the other day and I'm just wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to switch them out. It's freezing out and I'd rather not spend long so it would help if I had some advice. I'll post pics for you guys once there in. Thanks guys!

You just need to remove the plastic covers on both sides. I think it was 4 screws each.

Also, to change the bulb there is a metal line holding the bulb in, pop that off and the bulb slides out.

My bad, you said there's four screws but are they on they front or back, and if it's the back isn't there like a skid plate you have to remove?

There are 6 screws just remove them and take out the plastic cover on each side. It's pretty much common sense.

hopefully these help

Its really not that hard. IIRC just pop off the metal clip and out comes the bulb, simple as that. Remove the connector and put the new bulb in.

Can you post pics when you get the yellow bulbs installed? I'm considering doing this, I just wanna see how it looks on an Avalon before I try.

I'll probably end up finishing mine tomorrow also, I need to go get a screwdriver to fit in there to remove that bracket Looking piece, doesn't look like they just pop out or twist.

Does anyone know how to install fog lights from scratch? I have a 98 XL that didn't come with them but I've bought the lights, the XLS light switch on the steering column, a relay fuse, and found that it was pre-wired so I hooked it all up but they don't turn on. What am I missing?

Hmmm...did you say it had the fog relay and fuse already installed?
