Steering wheel lock
I sometimes have this issue on my 96 Avy and my wifes 95 Corolla. If i park either car and the steering wheel doesn't lock, when i go to start the car next time there is a lot of play in the wheel and it moves pretty freely. After locking it and hearing/feeling the click the key won't turn in the ignition. I sometimes have to releae the shifter and move it into neutral so i can rock the car while simultaneously trying to turn the steering wheel and the key at the same time. Anybody know why this is?
