Are probably your best bet. They look flexible in any direction too, while the others looked like they can only flex in one direction. 9 or 18" length.
And when sparse on details, this strip is labeled as '12VDC- Sutible for automobile use', which would mean they operate on 9-15vdc (I would guess)
While they have other, '12VDC - Not-sutible for automobile use', which means they need straight 12VDC, anything over and they might cook.
On another note, because the module is "rectangular" it would be easier to mount than a flat strip. ie, you can glue it to its side or back.
It depends where you're going to install them. These, in my opinion would only work if installed inside the headlight, or in the bumper's lower grille. The gap between the hood and the headlight is too small to allow something like this to fit on-top of the headlights, something I commonly see around Chicago.

would be better selection for the latter sugestion. I suppose they would also work, but are more expensive and most likely not as bright.
