Exclamation chrome spark plug wire separators ?

while changing out my old spark plugs, I somehow managed to break the oem separators , and I was wondering would a aftermarket set like this work ?

Amazon Amazon

the problem is our wires are 5mm, I think, and this say 7mm, would these work ?

depends on how you define "work," i suppose...

some electrical tape would take up the gap. but the wires are beneath the cover thingy, so the chrome would be wasted, no?

by work I mean to keep the wires from touching each other and pretty much staying out the way and not touching the engine bay.

oh well its $7, I went ahead and ordered them, lol

I would think those would be awfully loud. If they are going to touch the v/c or engine in any way then I wouldn't use them.
