need help,asap!!

I have a 98' Avalon XL and the car battery was going bad.i've replaced the battery and once I got in the car,it would not start!! I do not have a remote key or valet key,just a regular spare key! is there any way to get my car going or I have to buy a remote/master key and program it to get my car going?It was doing fine with the regular key before the battery was replaced?Is there any way or shortcut to disable the factory alarm to get it started,please,I NEED HELP,ASAP!!!!!!!!!

try using your key to lock/unlock the passenger's door....

Is your alarm activating when you hook up the battery?

With the VIP system, if you cycle the key in the ignition 2-3 times (Off to on and back, no starting it) then the alarm will deactivate.
