99 Avalon flasher relay location

My turn signals and flasher stopped working today and I checked both the fuses and they are good so I assume the flasher relay is bad. Does anyone know its location and what needs to be done to remove and replace it?

Turn signal flasher is a pain in the ass, its located behind the instrument cluster. The radio trim, driver side vent, and trim all around the speedo needs to come off. The gauge cluster must then be pulled out. Behind there you will find the factory three pronged flasher.

Be sure to get the CORRECT REPLACEMENT. I had some fool at autozone sell me some oldschool 3 pin thermal flasher and wound up burning up the hazard wiring in my car. Of course they assume no liability for it..

I'm doubtful you could replace the flasher from fishing your hand up from the pedal area, but maybe..

Before going though all that, I would recommend replacing the flasher fuse, just for kicks. Just borrow a 10A(15?) fuse from somewhere else.
