Hello,
A little while back the airbag light on my family's Avalon began flashing on and off. Lately the light is on continuously. My father and I did some research on how to pull a code from the dash light and came up with a sequence of five flashes followed by a 1-2 sec pause and another four flashes. That was from jumping the Tc and E1 from the DLC1 under the hood. Looking online I assume that means code 54, which I could only find for a Camry (
Airbag Code 54) suggesting a Passenger Side Squib Circuit.
We assume the next step is to get it fixed? Or, does this code not mean the same thing for the Avalon?
