headlight question

I have a 96 avalon and was wondering if the headlights from a 98-99 avalon will fit, I know they look the same, just wondering if they have the same bolt locations and will bolt right in.98-99 avalons headlights seem to not have that yellow haze like all the 95-97 i've seen.

Just so you know, all headlights are prone to haze, so don't expect them to be perfect. However they do look better than the 95-97 headlights, I agree.

Yes you can! I did this conversion for my 1997 Toyota Avalon. you just have to reuse the black headlight bracket from the originals on the new lights. To take it a step further, you can buy the side side marker lights from a Australian spec Avalon to match the new headlights. It looks great!

I am really interested in buying a pair of 98-99 headlights for my 97 Avalon and also heard that re-using the original black brackets from the 97 headlights, make them bolt on nicely. However, I've also heard after doing that, the headlights don't seem to fit as flush to the bumper as they used to with the 97 headlights. Did you run into this problem? If so, did you have to do any sort of mod to make them fit nice & flush again? Thanks for your help in advance. I'm scheduled to get my 97 Avalon painted soon and was considering getting the 98-99 headlights and doing the swap/upgrade, since we will be pulling things apart for the paint job.
