Cruise control lights on dashboard

I have a 1997 avalon XLE and my question is are there 2 sets of lights for the cruise control. One for when the CC is on and one when the CC is engaged. The one by the the ext. temp readout comes on when the CC is turned on, but a second one does not come on when the CC is engaged. The CC does engage and function as expected. Just wondering if I have a burned out light bulb on the dash.

this is interesting...

i see only the green light "cruise" on my dash. i also have some weird operational issues - like it will not resume after i stop it and after too long a time driving with my foot. i wonder if there things are related?

No, there is not a 2nd light which comes on when the CC is engaged. Just the light on the dash next to the clock when it is turned on.
