My air vent on far right pass side has busted louvers vertical and horizontal. Has anyone repaired vent ?

my '98 xls has the exact same thing. i called dealer and was told the part is $173. i'll probably go to a junkyard and get one.

mine aren't broken but the thungy that moves all of them together is. i looked at that thing. it does not seem to be willing to come out. how do you replace it, without messing up the dash?

don't know. haven't done it yet. if it takes more than poppong it out i'll just put up with it.
