need drawing of the differential. anybody know where to find one, preferably online?

if you are draining the fluid the plug is facing the rear of the vehicle and the fill plug is half way up facing the left wheel. sorry cant find a pic.

yup

what i'm trryng to figure out is, does the fluid in the trans of a '97 go into the differential, as well? i have heard the fluid was only in the differential until '98, then they started sharing it with the trans?

i'd just kinda like to know what's in there... i have a slow leak around one of the bolts that goes through from the left. i wonder if i could fix it by taking the finned cover off, cleaning the inside really well then using silicone on the inside to make it "waterproof?"

have u ever been inside the cover?
