Wondering if there are wood grain steering wheels that will fit a 97 avalon. I tried searching but got nothing

Switching to a different wheel can be difficult due to the air bag setup. In a quick search, I did not turn up any wood grain direct replacements.

In addition to the airbag possibly being the issue, a lot of Toyota models have their own distinct design steering wheels, so finding one to swap is very difficult. There could very well be a Lexus steering wheel that could fit onto the Avalon's steering column, but the Gen 1's steering wheel design was unique to that car.

You're best bet might be to go to an upholstery shop and see if they could put wood grain onto the wheel. Or get an el cheap steering wheel cover from Wal-Mart.
