Steering Universal Joint

Just finished replacing my PS fluid. Should I do anything to lube the steering universal joint? Bearings look like they are sealed with the expectation of lasting for the lifetime of the car. But, at 12 years and 110k miles, I thioht I would ask the question. Thanks.

That u joint can get stiff. I've sprayed it with a lubricant when that's happened, and then it works well again. It wouldn't be a bad idea to lubricate it before that happens.

If you're talking about the one in the engine bay(the intermediate steering shaft), I actually had to replace mine about 3 months back. I would assume that lubricating it would have probably prevented this(even though it doesn't have any grease points).
